What is Reiki?
Reiki is all about the simple flow of energy, yet the results can be profound. This intuitive work transforms lives to hold a clearer perspective. We will make better decisions and enjoy more fulfilling moments. Best of all, the relationship with ourselves becomes stronger, helping to strengthen the other relationships in our lives.
Reiki, which stands for ‘universal life force energy’ is everywhere; it is what we are made of. As a practitioner I will channel the flow of energy to help clear blockages in your body. These blockages are sometimes created through daily stresses & trauma. If we don’t have time to rest, this energy has nowhere to go and can get stuck.
This is where Reiki shines! It raises the vibration of the body and kicks out what is not needed, leaving you feeling lighter and full of peace.
What happens during a Reiki treatment?
Studies in neuroscience have shown the following two facts:
A combination of Reiki and a nurturing environment can help you to develop these new habits that support a more peaceful life. This is why creating, and fostering a therapeutic environment is key to the overall experience.
Our bodies have the ability to self-heal. They have the power to boost our immune system and turn down the thoughts which we think control us – you are one step away from feeling rejuvenated and finding that all important balance.

Kata graduated in 2015 as a clinical massage therapist in Hungary, where she worked in a hospital for 2 years and a spa for 3 years.
Since moving to England with her two sons, she works as a self-employed massage therapist and also practices Reiki healing as a part of her sport, deep tissue, or wellness massage routine.
Apart from being a masseuse Kata is also a gardener, life coach, psychodrama trainer, hypnotherapist and a musician. Her favourite subject is communication; she communicates with her hands through massage, with words through connected minds in therapy sessions, and expresses her soul playing music.
Kata has worked for almost ten years as a massage therapist, with clinical experience in hospitals as well as in spas. She practices a variety of methods, including Reiki, which you will find weaved through specific styles of massage.
Kata specialises in resolving problems with your spine, muscles and joints, alongside offering Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. If you don’t have any specific issues, and just want to zone out and relax for an hour – she can help with that too!
